you captured such a lovely moment between these two. They both look so relaxed - they know how to do it! And it works so well with the out of focus greenery in the foreground.
Yes, and it's chilly, so they've drawn up their legs, pulled their sleeves over their hands and are sitting in the last rays of sunshine. Not wanting to leave just yet, they are enjoying one another's company while they keep their eyes on the little ones, who are not affected by the chill. Your pictures of people always tell stories, Genie!
Chieftess -- I would love some of those green chairs for my garden and I would have to transport the limestone gravel/soil too!
Jeanne -- Green just feels so fresh and new in the spring... merci, mon amie
Starman -- Well, you are right about that one! However, these two were just appropriately dressed as the sun was setting and it was getting cool in the park
martine -- C'est vrai and vert est une couleur qui est parfait pour printemps... merci
Alexa -- Well, then we just match perfectly - hah!
Loree -- It was on this glorious afternoon in Jardin des Tuileries... merci!
Liz -- You are very observant, my friend. I love to see the stories and fill in the blanks with my imagination and photos... merci
Randy -- Indeed!
Dreamer -- Well, this is still spring and by summer they may have a crowd of people nearby... but they were enjoying the chat-time together... merci!
The fact that this is a common scene does not detract from it being an appealing one, which you captured well. The personalities of the two girls and their comfort with one another come through.
Le jardin des Tuileries est l'un de mes préférés. Grands espaces, jolis massifs, chaises accueillantes. Beaucoup de monde, mais dans le respect de chacun. Un lieu propice pour donner un rendez-vous galant...
Green is lively. Green is spring — nice to be outside, but have a good overcoat handy.
ReplyDeleteOh Genie, that is gorgeous, how I wish I was sitting there chatting to a friend.

ReplyDeleteOne thing is for certain about the crazy French people...one will never be able to tell what the weather is like from the way they're dressed!
ReplyDeleteLe vert est une couleur remplie d'espoir... C'est un anti-stress, elle apporte un équilibre mental...

ReplyDeleteJack -- It seemed as if they had been there for several hours from the empty bottles beneath the chairs. Merci, for all that you notice...
