Claudine -- Merci, et je te souhaite de passer un joyeux Noël aussi. I am glad to know that you are reading my blog every day, even without making comments. Bisous, G

Alexa -- I agree and it is certainly made with love for Him.

Brittany -- Oh, I certainly did! Joyeux Noël à toi aussi!

Jilly -- Thank you... it was a tradition from my grandmother and I think that almost all of her granddaughters make a Christmas birthday cake. In the busy years when my daughters were growing up, I bought a cake and we decorated it together, but we always had a cake. A very merry Christmas to you, Jilly!

James -- Glad that you noticed the petite reflection... I enjoy your blog and all that I have learned from the reflections posts! Merry Christmas to you...

Holly -- Safe travels and see you on Monday! Merry, merry!

Louis -- Merci, mon ami et Joyeux Noël à toi!

Chieftess -- I am certain that you are enjoying a white Christmas... hope that it is shared around a warm fire.

Malyss -- And we will be celebrating for many days as it is a HUGE cake. My day has been full of family love and more to come when Holly arrives on Monday...

Kate -- It is huge and plenty for all!

Jane -- You are overly generous in your praise, but it is quite special to us... It does make me appreciate the skill to produce those elaborate cakes in Paris... Macarons, I can do those
