Peter -- Quite charming indeed. I do love Paris in all seasons and all weather as there is never a shortage of beautiful vignettes.
Andy -- Many thanks, but Paris does make it easy. ;-)
Paul -- You are right on that, and it is usually the cathedral which upstages all else. I am particularly fond of this bridge and the close-up details I have in another photo are stunning.
Marie -- As Holly and I always say in the cold rain of December, a bad day in Paris beats a good day just about anywhere else - hah!
Virginia -- We met Marie on Pont Marie which was easy for me to remember and now I do not think that I will ever get that one confused again.
Jane -- Yes, I am with you, and as long as I can look with dreamy eyes of your photos, Virginia's, other bloggers', and mine... I am not too far away! Merci and bon weekend!
Rob -- I actually had to look up Petit Pont just to be sure. There are so many bridges across the Seine in Paris that it is easy to get confused.
I love this shot Genie!!! This one particularly speaks to me of Paris!!! Probably because I've only been to Paris in November and December so the grey skies just add to the Parisian ambience!!!
Right now, there are many overcast days..., but they have teir charm also, as we can see here! :-)
ReplyDeleteOvercast or not... you capture a great scene.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, the barge and the bridge upstage the cathedral!
ReplyDeleteOnly goes to prove that any day in Paris is a good day!
ReplyDeleteI love that bridge. IS this where we met one morning or was it Pont Marie?? :)

A beautiful shot! Takes me back!

Strange, I do not recall Petite Pont. Nice glimps of Notre Dame.
ReplyDeleteWould love to be walking there now.
