I think you've captured the secret to a happy marriage, Genie: Just stay in step with each other! [I'm usually several paces ahead of the ex—he still hates playing Phillip to my Elizabeth! :~} ]
I just purchased a shopping cart like that, complete with an inside lining and lid to protect shopping from the rain. The French make it look and sound so elegant whereas, in America, one is almost ashamed to admit to having to own one! What a pleasure to see your shot!
Brittany -- He seems to have such a gentle touch on her shoulder.
Bear -- I think that this couple has shared much over the years.
Nina -- Moi aussi
M -- I am glad that it was an easy shot as I would not have wanted to disturb them.
Shell -- It made me wonder, too. Taking the photo is only part of the joy, and the rest is wondering about these subjects and their stories.
V -- Merci, mon amie, et toi aussi!
Alexa -- "Stay in step" is a good recommendation. [Phillip and Elizabeth? Too funny, Alexa!]
Birdman -- The b/w just gave more focus to the couple than the surroundings. Merci.
Amanda -- Merci, and safe travels.
Petrea -- I had not thought about yesterday's "couple" but your comment made me smile.
Vagabonde -- A supreme compliment from the French femme. Merci.
Picturit -- Merci and bon weekend.
Gerald -- I enjoyed your reflection. Thanks for stopping in with a comment.
Starman -- I look forward to reading this week's adventures in Paris.
Halcyon -- Merci
Dimple -- Thanks, and just don't eat any pink mushrooms!
awarewriter -- Thank you... they seemed to be not only in sync but working like a team with her hand on the cart and his on her shoulder
Margaret -- It is interesting... I wish that there was a neighborhood market to which I could push a little cart like this. Thank you for your comments.
Altadenahiker -- Thank you, as I do not ever want to intrude on a couple like this or cause them any concern.... Now, boys on a subway are a different matter!
Ah, yes, the synchronicity that time weaves ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect photo. The way he is guiding her is so sweet
