As Holly and I were walking wearily back to our apartment in December, we found this chic art gallery on Rue Saint-Honoré...
Although I am not a window stylist, do you not think that this nude would have "presented" better had it been placed in front of the wall on the right rather than the wall on the left? I'm just saying....

I think that would depend on what beauty is in the eye of the beholder :-) I like the variety of styles -- and the way they paintings are in no particular order -- it really makes me want to go and look through them.

ReplyDeleteSaint-Honoré is the patron saint of bakers and confectioners. Thus the making of un gâteau-Saint-Honoré is often the final exam for graduating pâtissers. It is a tough final because the making of un gâteau-Saint-Honoré requires several disciplines and very good time management skills. Saint-Honoré was the bishop of Amiens in the 6th century and by the time of Louis Quatorze had become the patron saint of bakers and confectioners.
